Four public health clinics operate across the county. Walk-ins are accepted until 3 p.m.; appointments are recommended for immunizations and travel consultations. Services are offered on a sliding fee scale, and no one is turned away for inability to pay.

Immunizations and screenings
Environmental health
Environmental health inspects restaurants, pools, septic systems, and private wells, and manages solid waste collection standards.

- Rodent and vector complaints
Vital records
Certified birth and death certificates for events that occurred in the county are issued at the Galaxy Health Center. Bring a government-issued photo ID. Certificates are $12 each; the first copy of a death certificate for a surviving spouse is free.
Report a concern
Use the online service request to report a missed trash pickup, a food safety concern, standing water, or an unsanitary property. Requests are acknowledged within one business day and assigned a tracking number.

No. Flu shots are walk-in at all four clinics from September through March, while supplies last.

Search the environmental health inspection database by restaurant name, street, or inspection date. Reports going back three years are posted.

Report it by 6 p.m. the following day. Crews return within 48 hours for confirmed misses.
